Its that time again! Sephora VIB sale! When expensive beauty products actually go on sale (miracle of miracles, right?). Today I thought I’d share with you what’s on my VIB wish-list.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pencil: A repurchase for me. I love this pencil. It lasts so long, and blends into my brows effortlessly. And unlike the brow wiz, the spoolie doesn’t break.
It Cosmetics Bye Bye Breakout concealer: When I discovered this product existed I was like “Why didn’t anyone think of this sooner?” Concealer is a go-to for when I get a pimple, so why not have one that contains acne-fighting ingredients. No-brainer, onto my VIB wish-list it went. Only down-side is that there’s only seven shades.
Tarte babassu foundcealer skincare foundation: Will the hunt for a holy-grail foundation never end? Probably not. But I have fun with the hunt, so there’s that. I actually haven’t tried a Tarte foundation before, and I like the idea of a full-coverage one that I can mix with moisturizer for a lighter application. And summer is coming, so an SPF makes sense.
Kaja Mochi Pop Bouncy Blush: I was at Sephora last weekend, and saw this on a end-cap display. I tried it out, expecting it not to blend well, but I was mistaken! It blended very well, and had a slight sheen to it. I don’t care for a full-on highlighter effect in my blush, but a sheen is alright.
Hourglass Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Stick: I’ve been wanting to try a foundation stick for a while. I want to see what the hype is about and whether or not modern foundation sticks bear any resemblance to their pancake sisters of the 50s. Also, does a little go a long ways, or do foundation sticks run out fast?
Nars Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base: I’ve been looking to up my eyeshadow game. I want my eyeshadow (and all the time I spend blending) to pop. I’ve tried several eyeshadow primers and while they work okay, I want something that really makes a difference. I know a lot of people rave about this one, so while its on sale…
Drunk Elephant Umbra Tinte: I recently watched an Anne Edit video, and she recommend this moisturizer with SPF. I’ve been looking for a new spf and have had a hard time in the past with spf moisturizers breaking me out. And since their skincare is so good, I thought I’d try this out.
Drunk Elephant D-Hydra Intensive Hyrdation Serum: Speaking of Drunk Elephant…I’m always down for a good hydrating serum. This one is full of fruit extracts, niacinamide, and sodium hyalronate. Sign me up! I also like that this is 1.69oz instead of the usual 1oz, since it is expensive.
Tatcha Bestsellers Set: I’ve wanted this set for the last few VIB sales, but never let myself get it. I haven’t tried Tatcha skincare, but am intrigued by all the good reviews it gets. I’ve put some of the water cream on the back of my hand at Sephora and it felt so nice!
Sephora Collection the Essentials Kit: Sephora recently came out with its own line of skincare. It is much more affordable than the other skincare brands they carry. I’ve been happy with the makeup products I’ve tried from Sephora’s own collection (their lip gloss is the best!), and really hope their skincare is just as good. This set contains a cleanser, mud mask, and moisturizer.
Biossance Squalane + Glycolic Renewel Facial: If you follow my skincare posts, you know I love me a good mask. I try and keep a chemical exfoliating mask in my rotation always. This one seems like the perfect match; a good dose of AHAs, but with a moisturizing oil to keep my skin hydrated. I’ve also wanted to try the Biossance brand for a while, and what better time!
What about you? Looking forward to shopping the Sephora VIB sale? What’s on your VIB wish-list?
