Remember that post I did about my luxury wish-list a few months ago (here)? It featured several pairs of Aquazzuras. What can I say? I just love their edgy and sophisticated design. Well, a few weeks ago it was black Friday. See where this is going? Matchesfashion had these beauties on sale. And in my size! So I did it, I took the plunge. Treat yo-self.

Coppery rose gold, just under 3 inch heel, and the cutest buckled straps you ever did see. I’m in love. They came in a very fancy box (not the Aquazzara box, but a fancy gift box from Matches) and included the dust bag you see here. I’ve tried Aquazzuras on before at the Aquazzura store in Las Vegas, but am still surprised at how comfortable these shoes are.

The footbed is short enough that my bunion isn’t irritated. And the strap is far enough up that I feel very stable in these shoes. These heels are all leather. Inside, outside, and the soles, which is pretty standard for designers heels. Even though they’re brand new, these heels are so supple! Not stiff, or rigid. I haven’t broken them in yet, but with this level of suppleness, I doubt the brake-in time will be long.

I am so pleased with my first Aquazzura purchase. These shoes are beautiful, well made, and comfortable. I also really appreciated Matches hassle-free process. Duties and taxes are included in the price shown, and the gift packaging is free. And the shipping was super fast! Which is good, because I was chopping at the bit to receive these beauties!

How about you? Ever purchased designer shoes? Aquazzuras? What has your experience been like?
